Clear Sailing All Summer

Enjoying the view of the lake from the back porch.

What a wonderful summer we had in the Great Atlantic North East! The weather was beautiful all summer. I heard some folks were talking drought, but I’m talking not having to mow the lawn. We enjoyed paddle or sail boat rides nearly everyday!

(The sailboat was out of commission for a few days after we ran into a previously uncharted, submerged boulder. Thanks for the marine repair Ralph!)

I haven’t updated the blog in awhile because there hasn’t been much to tell regarding

The View

Lisa’s situation. Her latest sets of scans were perfect in that they showed that her disease is stable with no signs of progression. Last Friday she had T-DM1 infusion number VII!

After a few days of the standard chemo-type side effects, she is starting to feel back to normal. Her balance is still a bit shaky, but overall is doing remarkably well.

Enjoy the last few days of summer!
