Lisa’s recovery hit a slight rough patch yesterday when she came down with the Norovirus that is going around. She was fine yesterday morning around 8 AM, but by 9 stomach pain started hitting her hard. As the morning wore on, her condition continued to worsen and several calls to her doctors were made. Since diagnosing the problem over the phone as a surgery related issue, a drug related issue, or something, was impossible, they decided that the best course of action was to take her to the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital. After giving her intravenous fluids, pain meds, nausea meds, and a series of tests they determined that she had the Norovirus which lasts anywhere from 1-2 days. By 10 PM she was feeling well enough to go home. Today she is feeling much better; almost back to her new, neurosurgery-recovering, self.

Thanks Scott,
Glad to hear that Lisa’s back on the mend. When it rains it pours I guess. Hope you’re getting support as well. If there’s anything I can do, please reach out.
Its a nasty virus! Whew, glad that’s over. And now… back to recovery. The ground hog tells us that there is 6 more weeks of winter. Or was that Bill Murray? So, charting a course of recovery to the Spring and beyond. Yeah, I know that was a quote from Buzz Lightyear.
